LEARN HOW 50,000+ Leaders
TRANSFORMED FROM HAVING STAGE-FRIGHT
TO BECOMING AN AUDIENCE-DELIGHT
I was fortunate enough to implement what I learnt immediately, had a situation where I was needed to talk to 70 people at the work place. Fear is what I experienced at the first go ; but as fear is a figment of my imagination (well explained in the masterclass), I could actually put it aside and spoke in a very clear and effective way. Post the speech I realized that I'd gone wrong in some places where my words ran faster than my mind but my audience couldn't stop congratulating me for being so inspiring and effective. Thank you very much Yukti for your guidance.
Through this masterclass, I learnt how to overcome my nervousness and anxiety while delivering presentation to Corporate level, especially in an unknown situations.

What's the big deal about Public Speaking anyway?
First, let's get this right - public speaking is not just about speaking on stage to millions, but speaking to any number of people. And that means, we all engage in public speaking ALL THE TIME!
Not being able to feel comfortable while speaking takes away our ability to make an impact and audience's ability to appreciate the message, or even trust our credibility on the subject.
So, it IS in fact a big deal to get public speaking , right. Don't you think?
In fact, it's the first step towards achieving anything meaningful.
Our fear of speaking in front of others can stem from many reasons - fear of rejection, being laughed at, causing embarrassment, going wrong, forgetting the speech...and the list can go on.
The good news is that you can overcome these fears by using some proven techniques.
My name is Yukti Kapoor Mehandiratta
I've been engaged with public speaking for the last 20 years and have spoken on 1000+ national and international events, the most tantalizing of which was Gladrags Mrs. India's Q&A round.
And have been fortunate to share the stage with eminent speakers like Gaur Gopal Das, Byju Raveendran, Nandan Nilekani, Prahlad Kakkar, and many more.
You might be wondering if I am gifted with confidence, or have a knack for public speaking.
Honestly, that's not the case.
I was never a gifted speaker who could just go on the stage and deliver an applauding speech.
It all started with an embarrassing experience of tumbling on stage to recite a Sanskrit poem for Junior School Competition. While I was a topper in Sanskrit, yet reciting a poem in front of so many people was just not my thing.
I wasn't just nervous but my entire body was shivering evidently. I simply froze!
The only thing I wanted, was to disappear magically.
Of course, I didn't win that competition but I did win the challenge of putting myself back on stage.
And I kept up to it time and again.
The journey from being that coy girl to becoming a beauty pageant winner was not an easy one, to say the least.
There are many lessons that I've learnt the hard way.
How I wish someone could pack it all up using simple and practical techniques to ace the skill of speaking in public.
So, I decided to do just that!
